On November 1st (All Saints Day) the Evangelism TEAM is hosting a carry-in lunch for all members and friends immediately following the Sunday service. The Evangelism TEAM will provide a variety of meats and drinks. Everyone is invited to bring a dish that corresponds with the first initial of their last name.
A-G—Salads
H-P—Vegetables
Q-Z--Desserts
Please plan on attending and invite at least 1 friend.

John Flynn Concert to Benefit the Eric Hall Memorial Fund (working to help combat vets dealing with issues related to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder/PSTD). His song "Semper Fi" tells Eric’s story. The concert will be held on Sunday October 11 at 2:00 at Shiloh United Methodist Church. Tickets for concert will be $15.00. You may be purchased tickets from Marlene Hautsch 639-1608 or Dorothy Hautsch 309-9925.

Five members of the stewardship & finance committee will be attending a long-term learning event entitled, Developing Generosity, led by Dr. William Engright of the Lake Institute on Faith and Giving. The first session will be on Monday, October 12, 9:00am-3:00pm, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Evansville.
The next meeting is scheduled for October 19, 2009 at 6:00pm.

Pastor Gretchen will be leaving on vacation on Thursday, August 6th and will return on August 18th. All pastoral needs are being covered by Rev. David Darling at 812-536-5798 of St. James, Holland.
