CHRISTINA MAUNTEL’S ELCA GLOBAL MISSION

Christina Mauntel will be participating in the ELCA's Global Mission's Young Adult International Service Program from August 2008-August 2009. She and fifty other young Lutheran adults (ages 19-30) will be placed in 9 different countries around the world. Christina has been selected to serve in either South Africa or Israel/Palestine during this year long term of service. Both program focus on serving underrepresented populations of their respective countries. Each participant is asked by Global Missions to fund raise $4000 dollars to help defray the cost of the trip.
